Congressman Markwayne Mullin to hold Town Hall events throughout District 2

Muskogee, OK – January 24th 2013 – Congressman Markwayne Mullin (OK-2) today announced an extensive Town Hall tour of the 2nd District to be held from Tuesday, January 29th to Friday February 1st 2013.

“I’ve said from the very beginning that no one would outwork us and I meant it,” said Mullin. “We want to be very proactive to stay in contact with the District. I’m committed to doing Town Hall events often so there can be a constant line of communication available. We want to be able to visit with as many people as possible as often as possible. I’m looking forward to a busy travel schedule during the week and I want to encourage members of the public to attend and ask questions.”

Mullin receives House of Representatives sub-committee posts

Congressman Markwayne Mullin (OK-2) today announced his subcommittee assignments for the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure and the Committee on Natural Resources for the 113th Congress.

“I’m excited to have been selected to serve on these subcommittees,” Mullin said. “The assignments cover a broad range of issues so I will have the opportunity to contribute to the work being done in these areas”
